While you're here at Brown Lake, you could also have a look at beautiful Portie Lakes, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Pirogue Trail. So many fun things to do here at Brown Lake, too great to be true. All the water falling down from the sky makes Brown Lake a wet place; September is the wettest month with most rain, and April on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at       Hidden Ponds RV Park is always a wonderful experience, and if you need a place to stay Treasure Inn Lake Charles is a great choice. Going for a hike along the Creole Nature Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity; there are plenty of folks from Lake Charles here. Camping is available at Smith's Mobile Home Village, and after a long day outdoors Candlewood Suites LAKE CHARLES-SULPHUR is a great location to spend a night or two. During the                  summer months highs here at Brown Lake get into the 90's with overnight lows in the 70's.
