Lots of rainfall falls at Boggy Lake; May is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month of the year is August. Summertime brings highs in the 90's to Boggy Lake; through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Through the winter highs are mostly in the 50's while Boggy Lake nighttime low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. Jackson's Hole Fish Camp is a splendid place       to get some rest; why not camp at Huxley Bay Marina since you're here at Boggy Lake. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Boggy Lake. After a long day outdoors Burton's Gatehouse Inn is a great site to spend a night or two. Bossier Bayou is next to Boggy Lake and is always a diversion to visit, and do go to Round Lake, it's a charming lake. Gravel Prairie is right here at Boggy Lake; there is a great hiking trail close by called the Sabine National                  Forest Trail.
