Here at Big Lake you'll perhaps meet some folks from Tallulah. Why not camp at Battlefield Kampground while you're here at Big Lake, and unsurprisingly, this is a nice neighborhood for folks who like lakes, Long Lake is a lake close by. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at River City RV Park, and Rainbow Hotel and Suites is a splendid spot to get some rest. Big Lake is a rather wet place commonly       with lots of rain; most of the rain falls through December, and September is the month with the least moisture. A great nearby hotel is Rainbow Hotel Casino - An Amerihost Inn, and swamps like Cross Bayou are fun to visit. For the duration of the summer, highs generally are in the 90's at Big Lake with night lows in the 70's.
