If you like swamps, you're in luck, Big Bayou Jose is right close by, and dry warm beds await you at Sportsman's Paradise. Bay Touch-me-not is a wet site that gets a large amount of rain; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is October. At Bay Touch-me-not throughout the warm days of summer highs are in the 90's; the night is somewhat chillier of course, usually       in the 70's. Highs throughout the winter are ordinarily in the 60's while Bay Touch-me-not nighttime low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 40's. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Lapeyrouse Seafood Bar and Groc, and do schedule some time to go to Moss Bay if you have a chance.
