You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors entertaining stuff the area close to Bateman Lake has to offer. This is a splendid area for people who like lakes. Peters Lake is a lake close by. You're almost certainly addicted to lakes, Crystal Lake is one of those close by, and Clear water Creek Resort is a good campground nearby. High temperatures at Bateman Lake all through the summertime       are in the 90's, and through the night it cools down to the 70's. The winter brings highs down to the 50's while the cold winter nights at Bateman Lake are in the 30's. Swamps like Peters Cutoff are fun to explore, and obviously Adams Creek flows through this region. Bateman Lake is a good place to visit for more than one day, Lazy-j Campgrounds is a good place to camp nearby, and if you need a place to stay Days Inn - Picayune is a fine choice. Bateman Lake                  generally gets a great deal of rainfall; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain, and October is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful.
