Bar Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Since you're here at Bar Lake why not go to Ursino Bar. This is a popular spot for folks from Tallulah; a delightful lake like Blue Hole is a tremendous spot to go to. Bar Lake is a wet place that gets a lot of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is mostly December, that's the one that rains the most while September is the month with the least amount of precipitation.

Grand Gulf Inn is a good spot to get some rest; Bar Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, River City RV Park is a good local campground. During the summertime highs here at Bar Lake get into the 90's, and the night is a bit colder of course, usually in the 70's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 50's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Bar Lake.
