There's so much to do here at Artillery Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Shady Lake Recreational Vehicle Park is a delightful       site for that. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Fullerton Lake Campground and Picnic Area, and going for a hike on the Whisky Chitto Trail is always a wonderful adventure. All through the months of summer highs here at Artillery Lake get into the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 70's. The winter comes with highs in the 50's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Artillery Lake temperatures descend to the 30's.                  This place, Artillery Lake, it completely has so much outdoors fun stuff.
