The high level of precipitation makes Zazios Pond a relatively wet site; July is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is October. If you're stopping by Zazios Pond from Louisville, you won't be the only one. Lakes?       Sure, Duck Lake is close by, and getting to Long Lick Creek from Zazios Pond is trouble-free. There are some good whitewater spots on Floyds Fork; if you're a golfer then a splendid nearby course is Maplehurst Golf Course. No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a pleasant time here at Zazios Pond. Gospel Campground is a magnificent local campground, and Super 8 Shepherdsville is a fine place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be                  in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by close by Hudic Lake, and Grandma's Rv Park is a magnificent campground nearby. At Zazios Pond during the days of summer highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 60's.
