Wood Creek Lake is always a pleasure to visit. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Wood Creek Lake. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 60's. For the period of the winter highs are generally in the 40's; throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Wood Creek Lake temperatures plunge to the 20's. Begley Hollow is a nice location to spend some time at; swing by Big Branch it's a splendid place to stop at. A large amount of rain falls at Wood Creek Lake;

| | March is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is October.
This lake is so wonderful. You'll meet a lot of folks from London here; you can have a good hiking adventure along the Rockcastle Narrows Trail. Rockcastle River has a great whitewater paddling spot close by, and camping is available at Holly Bay Campground. This lake is so wonderful. All year is a splendid time in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains if you have a thing about the outdoors. Paddling
on Laurel River is so much fun, and if you need a place to stay Budget Host Westgate Inn is a good choice. This lake is located in the wonderful Cumberland Plateau Mountains.
Man, is there plenty of enjoyable things to do in close
