Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting things close to Walker Lakes. A great spot to camp here at Walker Lakes is Double M Campground, and camping at Pine Ridge Campground is always a glorious experience. For the duration of the warm days of summer, highs usually are in the 80's at Walker Lakes while nighttime lows are typically in the 60's. For the period of the wintertime highs are ordinarily       in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Walker Lakes. Kuttawa-Days Inn is a great site to get some rest; there is a tremendous hiking trail nearby called the Hickory Ridge Trail. Walker Lakes gets much water; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain, and October is when it's the driest. Going for a hike on the Beaver Trail is always a good adventure, and Bracy Hollow is another perfect spot to go to nearby. This                  lake is so wonderful. Why not stop by nearby Phillips Creek if you're here at Walker Lakes, and there are other places here than Walker Lakes, for example Crawford Lake.
