A good deal of rainfall falls at Walker Lakes; the month with most of the rain is March, and the driest month of the year is October. This lake is so wonderful. Walker Lakes is not the only place close by, Bennett Lake is a close by lake, and Bracy Hollow is beyond doubt a wonderful site to stop at. There is a great hiking trail next to Walker Lakes called the Beaver       Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Days Inn Kuttawa. Through the summer here at Walker Lakes, high temperatures frequently get into the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 60's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Walker Lakes. This is no spot for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. On a fine day at Walker Lakes you can take a hike along the River to                  River Trail, and if the weather is fine, you can go for a hike along the Hickory Ridge Trail.
