Pete: Is Tucker Lake still in existence? I remember about 15 years ago we used to go there (Off Taylorsville Road), pay t oget in and swim in the lake. They had lifeguards, and a concession stand and a baby pool. Does anyone remember this? Does anyone know if it is still there? A delightful location to camp here at Tucker Lake is Louisville South Koa, and the cheerful folks of Louisville like to hang out nearby. During the days of summer at Tucker Lake temperatures are regularly in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's; overnight lows during the wintertime for Tucker Lake tend to be       in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Plum Creek has a brilliant whitewater paddling spot nearby, and Tucker Lake is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Cedar Ridge Camp is a brilliant local campground. If only every place had this much outdoors enjoyable things, what a great globe it would be. Glenmary Country Club is a golf course near Tucker Lake; after a long day outdoors Comfort Suites Louisville is a tremendous place to spend a night or                  two. Tucker Lake is a rather wet place usually with a lot of rain; July is when you get the most rain here, and October meanwhile is the driest month. Dry warm beds await you at Candlewood Suites Louisville-East, Ky, and not far from Tucker Lake you'll come across La Clara Lakes which is a gorgeous lake.
