If you are in Nelson county it's always a good idea to stop by Sympson Lake. Holt's Campground and Fishing Lake is a splendid local campground; hey, Buffalo Creek is a fine local stream. So many cool things to do at Sympson Lake, so little time. If you came for an overnight stay White Acres Campground is a magnificent place to camp, and if you need a site to stay Best Western General Nelson is a splendid choice. This lake is so wonderful. | | in the neighborhood of Sympson Lake is Cedar-Fil Golf Course, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Salt River. Sympson Lake is a wet place that gets a good deal of rain; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is October.
