Holt's Campground and Fishing Lake is a splendid local campground; hey, Buffalo Creek is a fine local stream. So many cool things to do at Sympson Lake, so little time. If you came for an overnight stay White Acres Campground is a magnificent place to camp, and if you need a site to stay Best Western General Nelson is a splendid choice. This lake is so wonderful. A golf course       in the neighborhood of Sympson Lake is Cedar-Fil Golf Course, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Salt River. Sympson Lake is a wet place that gets a good deal of rain; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is October. Summertime highs at Sympson Lake usually tend to be in the 80's while night lows are mostly in the 60's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the                  40's; night lows in the 20's for Sympson Lake.
