Sportsman Club Lake is a nice lake right next door to Sycamore Lake, and a magnificent site to camp here at Sycamore Lake is Cummins Ferry Campground And Marina. There are other sites here than Sycamore Lake, for example Cooke Lake, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Jessamine Creek. Just can't get enough of Sycamore Lake. The Brook Golf Course is a golf course in the vicinity of       Sycamore Lake, and camping is available at Kentucky Horse Park. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Sycamore Lake. For the period of the moonlight hours it's usually in the 60's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 40's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Sycamore Lake drop into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Comfort Suites Lexington is a splendid site to get some rest, and you'll meet a lot of folks                  from Lexington-Fayette here.
