Sycamore Lake is a reasonably wet place ordinarily with a great deal of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily May, that's the one that rains the most, and January on the other hand is the driest. There's so much to do here at Sycamore Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Lively Lady Camp Ground is a wonderful site for that, and Maysville Super 8 Motel is       a great location to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Soar down the rapids of Big Three Mile Creek in a kayak, and dry warm beds await you at Days Inn Maysville. If you came to camp Fox Valley Recreation Area is a good place to do that, and at Sycamore Lake you always meet someone from Maysville. Through the months of summer at Sycamore Lake temperatures are commonly in the 80's.
