Sunset Lake is a lake worth visiting. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Otter Creek Campground, and if you need a location to stay Holiday Inn Express RADCLIFF - FORT KNOX is a brilliant choice. Sunset Lake commonly gets much rain; all through the month of May you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is October. Lakes? Sure, Twin Lakes is in close proximity, and a magnificent close by hotel is Radcliff/Ft. Knox Super 8 Motel.

| | If you love the outdoors, you'll adore Sunset Lake. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Otter Creek. Pine Valley Golf Course is a delightful golf course close by, and why not camp at Crossroads Campgrounds while you're here at Sunset Lake. Summer at Sunset Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's with overnight lows in the 60's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and overnight lows throughout | |

Sportsman Lake isn't stocked regularly and the fishing isn't that great, though there are some big guys in there; you have to work for it. Chances are any fishing you do are going to be to relax and not to catch. It is a pretty area though and a quiet gated community. Great place if you don't have your own fishing hole. 3 out of 5 stars.... |
