State Lake typically gets much rain; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain, and October on the other hand is the driest. Throughout the warmest time of the year at State Lake highs are frequently in the 90's while nighttime lows are ordinarily in the 60's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's with temperatures at State Lake dipping down into the 20's all through       winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around State Lake; River to River Trail is a delightful local trail. You'll need more than a day to look at everything State Lake has to offer, you can camp at Double M Campground. State Lake truly is in the middle of a delightful outdoors paradise. Good hiking is available along the Beaver Trail. There's so much to do here at State Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Pine                  Ridge Campground is a great site for that. Four Seasons Motel is a tremendous site to get some rest; if you've had enough of State Lake, Dixon Pond is close by.
