State Lake is a wet spot that gets much precipitation; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain; October on the other hand is the driest. If you need a place to stay Four Seasons Motel is a nice choice, and you can stay the night at Pine Ridge Campground. High temperatures at State Lake throughout the summertime months are in the 90's, and throughout the night it cools       down to the 60's. During the winter highs are in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 20's for State Lake. Go for a hike on the River to River Trail, and Double M Campground is a great campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful.
