Go to Spring Grove Lakes if you want to go to a nice lake. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Hog Pen Trail; if you came for an overnight stay Buckskin Run Camper Park is a wonderful place to camp. Spring Grove Lakes beyond doubt is in the middle of a pretty outdoors paradise. You can catch a glimpse of Green Mountain from Spring Grove Lakes, and camping is available at The Outpost Campground. This lake is so wonderful.

| | months at Spring Grove Lakes temperatures are usually in the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's with temperatures at Spring Grove Lakes dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. rainfall makes Spring Grove Lakes a rather wet place; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and January is when it's the driest.
All the outdoors amusing stuff in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains will keep you
coming back time and again. Going for a hike on the Cross Over Trail is always a glorious adventure, and Red River has a nice whitewater paddling spot nearby. There are great places to explore along the Cave Run Trail, and after a
long day outdoors Days Inn is a great place to spend a night or two. Spring Grove Lakes is a beautiful lake in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains.
If you're a golfer then a magnificent close by course is Eagle Trace Golf Course; lots of people from Mount Sterling come here.
