Chances are any fishing you do are going to be to relax and not to catch. It is a pretty area though and a quiet gated community. Not far from Sportsman Lake, you'll discover Buffalo Lake which is a charming lake, and the good people of Elizabethtown like to hang out close by. Sportsman Lake really is in the middle of a scenic outdoors paradise. Sportsman Lake gets a great deal of water; July is the wettest month with most       rain, and October meanwhile is the driest month. Through the long summer days at Sportsman Lake temperatures are frequently in the 80's, and all through the night it cools down to the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's while Sportsman Lake night low temperatures during the winter are in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are glorious; Valley Creek Reservoir is a lake that's near Sportsman Lake; a round of golf at nearby Elizabethtown                  City Golf Course is a perfect way to kill some time.
