Snedegar Pond is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Snedegar Pond is a quite wet place generally with lots of rain; all through the month of May you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is January. This lake is so wonderful. Holiday Inn Express Morehead, Ky is a good site to get some rest, and Horseshoe Bend is an interesting place to go to while at Snedegar Pond. A nice spot to check out near Snedegar Pond is Sulphur

Snedegar Pond is a beautiful lake in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. The Cave Run Trail is a nice hiking trail in close proximity to Snedegar Pond. Man, is there plenty of fun stuff to do near Snedegar Pond. Camping is available at Zilpo Camp Ground, and for you golfers we recommend nearby Eagle Trace Golf Course. On a
pleasant day at Snedegar Pond you can take a hike along the Buck Branch Trail, and do take a look at Bluebank Branch while you're here at Snedegar Pond. All through the warmest time of the year here at Snedegar Pond, high temperatures
ordinarily reach the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's generally in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's; nighttime lows during the winter for Snedegar Pond tend to be in the 10's.
