High temperatures at Snedegar Pond during the warm days of summer are in the 80's, and the nighttime is fairly cooler of course, frequently in the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's; nighttime lows in the 10's for Snedegar Pond. Whohoo, so many fun things in one place! Snedegar Pond is peerless! Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to close by Spring Grove Lakes; while you're       here you can take a hike along the Buck Branch Trail. And if that's not enough there's lots more amusing stuff to do in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. A round of golf at nearby Eagle Trace Golf Course is a magnificent way to kill some time, and if you need a place to stay Comfort Inn & Suites is a fine choice. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are pleasant; Hawkins Pond is a lake that's in close proximity to Snedegar Pond; camping at Zilpo Camp Ground is                  always a good experience. Snedegar Pond usually gets a lot of precipitation; through May this area sees the most rain; the driest of the months is January. Snedegar Pond is one of the lakes here in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. During your tour to Snedegar Pond you'll meet some people from Mount Sterling for sure. This lake is so wonderful. Bluebank Branch is in close proximity to Snedegar Pond and is always a joy to go to, and Green Mountain can be distinguished from Snedegar Pond. If the weather is tremendous here at Snedegar Pond, you can go for a hike along the Cave Run Trail, and camping is available at The Outpost Campground. A good nearby hotel is Holiday Inn Express Morehead, Ky, and going for a hike along the Cross Over Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. Just can't get enough of the Cumberland Plateau Mountains.
