If you are traveling by, why not stop by Snedegar Pond. There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. Horseshoe Bend is a pleasant spot to check out while in the area; the wonderful people of Mount Sterling like to hang out nearby. If you would like a little side tour, try Sulphur Hollow, and hey, Bluebank Branch is a wonderful local stream. Snedegar Pond gets much water; through May this area sees the most rain, and January

the Buck Branch Trail, and a delightful location to camp here at Snedegar Pond is Zilpo Camp Ground. Yep, outdoors cool stuff truly is plentiful here in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. Lakes are such calm sites, why not visit Spring Grove Lakes in the vicinity of Snedegar Pond, and Snedegar Pond is right by the Cave Run Trail.
