Go to Sid Calk Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. Whittleton Campground is a great campground here, and after a long day outdoors Fairfield Inn By Marriott Lexington/Mount Sterling is a good site to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Sid Calk Lake is right by the Auxier Branch Trail; Meadow's Golf Course is a great golf course nearby. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Sid Calk Lake. | | into while here, and a brilliant close by hotel is Mt. Sterling-Days Inn.
That right there is a heap of enjoyable things already but it goes on, the Cumberland Plateau Mountains has it all. Take a hike on the Courthouse Rock Trail. Sid Calk Lake is one of the lakes here in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. Sid Calk Lake gets much water; through the month of March you get the most rain around here; October is the month with the least moisture.
