Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Scenic Lake. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Scenic Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Municipal Golf Course is a great golf course nearby, and lots of people from Evansville come here. Holiday Inn Express Henderson, Kentucky is a good place       to get some rest; Scenic Lake is a good site to visit for more than one day, Burdette Park is a good site to camp nearby. Scenic Lake gets a large amount of water; the wettest month of the year is commonly May, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is January. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. Take a look at nearby Bennett Slough, and why not a little side spree to Mound Slough.
