Throughout the warm months here at Reservoir Number 1, high temperatures frequently reach the 80's while night lows are mostly in the 60's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and overnight lows at Reservoir Number 1 during the winter commonly drop into the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. A great
site for whitewater paddling close to Reservoir Number 1 is Boone Creek, and dry warm beds await you at Blue Grass Extended Stay. Golf can be played at Lakeside Golf Course, and Kentucky Horse Park is a pleasant local campground.
