Puckett Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. If you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Four Mile Creek. Puckett Lake is a pretty wet place typically with a great deal of rainfall; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Muddy Creek is a great whitewater spot next to Puckett Lake, and camping is available at Aldersgate Camp And Retreat Center. During the summer months here at Puckett Lake, high temperatures regularly get into the 80's. Summer nighttime lows descend down to the 60's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 30's with winter lows in the 20's overnight | |
