Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Pearl Pond, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Pearl Pond plunge into the 20's. Get your heart pumping on the great whitewater of Salt River; after a long day outdoors Super 8 Shepherdsville is a delightful       spot to spend a night or two. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Floyds Fork; if you need a place to stay Country Inn & Suites By Carlson Louisville South is a splendid choice. This lake is so wonderful. Mud Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth a visit, and Pearl Pond is a splendid location to visit for more than one day, Gospel Campground is a splendid location to camp nearby. Pearl Pond                  sees pretty high levels of rainfall; July is the wettest month with most rain, and October is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Pearl Pond it's a splendid idea to explore Glenn Meadows. Lakes? Sure, Grenwells Pond is around here. If only every place had this much outdoors entertaining stuff, what a great world it would be.
