Park Lake is a lake worth visiting. There are perfect sites to look at along the Big Limestone Trail, and you can stay the night at Twin Knobs Recreation Area. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn & Suites, and whitewater paddling is wonderful on Big Three Mile Creek. Park Lake gets a large amount of water; May is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is October.
