This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Paul's Motel is a splendid place to spend a night or two; going for a hike on the Rock Bridge Trail is always a good adventure. Panbowl Lake commonly gets much rainfall; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain while October is usually the driest month. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Panbowl Lake. Throughout the       dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 60's. Highs through the wintertime are usually in the 40's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Panbowl Lake temperatures drop to the 10's. Having a perfect time at Panbowl Lake is painless. Go for a hike on the Wildcat Trail. So much fun stuff in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains, just inspiring. A nice close by hotel is Jackson Inn, and whitewater paddling is great on Red River. Some of                  the water nearby flows, like Big Bridge Branch, and there are pleasant locations to look at along the Swiftcamp Creek Trail. This lake is one of the great places here in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains.
