Paintsville Lake is a wet place that gets lots of rain; most of the rain falls all through July, and October is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Getting to Barnetts Creek from Paintsville Lake is trouble-free; if you need a location to stay Budget Inn Express is a wonderful choice. This lake is located in the wonderful Cumberland Plateau Mountains. All through       the summer at Paintsville Lake temperatures are commonly in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 60's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's with temperatures at Paintsville Lake dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. Cane Knob is gorgeous and can be seen from Paintsville Lake; dry warm beds await you at Ramada Inn Of Paintsville.
