There are other places here than Oakwood Lake, for example Mc Neely Lake; Grandma's Rv Park is a great campground nearby. All the water falling down from the sky makes Oakwood Lake a wet site; during the month of July you get the most rain around here, and October is the month       with the least moisture. Not far from Oakwood Lake, you'll hit upon Cedar Lakes which is a scenic lake, and there's whitewater on Floyds Fork for all you thrill seekers. If you need a place to stay Fairfield Inn By Marriott Louisville South is a great choice, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Salt River. People from Louisville love to come to Oakwood Lake. High temperatures at Oakwood Lake throughout the summertime                  months are in the 80's while night lows are frequently in the 60's.
