The high level of precipitation makes Nichols Lake a relatively wet place; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and October is the month with the least moisture. High temperatures at Nichols Lake through the warmest time of the year are in the 80's. Summer overnight lows sink       down to the 60's. During the wintertime the highs are ordinarily in the 40's, and overnight lows at Nichols Lake during the wintertime ordinarily plunge into the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Glendale Campground, and after a long day outdoors Hatfield Inn is a nice spot to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Sure, Stephensburg Lake is close to Nichols Lake, and there are plenty of people from Elizabethtown here. But wait, there's more to do next to Nichols Lake. This is a splendid neighborhood for folks who like lakes.
