Summertime at Mud Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 90's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 60's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 40's; winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Mud Lake. This lake is so wonderful. A good location for whitewater paddling in close proximity to Mud Lake is Bear Branch; while you're here you can take a hike along the River to       River Trail. Lakes? Sure, Barnett Lake is close at hand, and there's some flowing water close by, Barnett Branch is a stream you can check out while here. Mud Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; May is the wettest month with most rain; the driest month of the year is January. Watson Bluff is a glorious spot to check out while in the vicinity, and get your pulse rate up on the fine whitewater of Lusk Creek. You believe that's enough?
