Cap Mauzy Lake
 | 13 miles away I fished your lake for the first time on May 21 2006. It was a good looking lake for bass fishing, but with the cold whether we had, catching fish was a little more difficult. I plan on coming back and fishing again soon, it was a really nice place to fish. I just hope maybe the moss will not be as bad on my next visit. Maybe a few young grass carp wouldn't hurt !!!... |
Big Lake
 | 18 miles away Big lake is a beautiful lake surrounded by lage cypress trees. In the 1940's and 50's it was called Big Lake resot, several cabins and a lage hotel, kept full duing the season. Boat rentals and a bait shop and grocery/cafe were also here. Now there ae just a fe cabins left and the hotel is gone, but the memories are still there.... |
