The high level of precipitation makes Limestone Lake a rather wet site; March is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is October. Through the long summer days at Limestone Lake temperatures are commonly in the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's typically in the 60's. Highs during the winter are usually in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at       Limestone Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you're a golfer then a pleasant close by course is Hobson Grove Golf Course, and from Limestone Lake you get a brilliant vista of Reservoir Hill. Camping is available at Bowling Green Koa Kampground, and Jennings Creek is near Limestone Lake and is always a diversion to check out. Courtyard By Marriott Bowling Green is a wonderful site to get some rest; a brilliant place to camp here at Limestone Lake is Beech                  Bend Family Campground. What a place this is for outdoors people. If you come at the right time of year, Gasper River offers some great whitewater.
