The beauty of Laurel River Lake is reason enough to stop by. This lake is so wonderful. Throughout the warm days of summer here at Laurel River Lake, high temperatures frequently reach the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's while Laurel River Lake night low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 20's. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool things in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. Good hiking

Laurel River Lake is one of the lakes here in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this place. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Laurel River Lake; Twin Branch Trail is a tremendous local trail, and dry warm beds await you at Cumberland Falls State Resort Park. just inspiring. Soar down the rapids of Laurel River in a kayak, and if you're stopping by from Corbin, you won't be the only one.
This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Sheltowee Trace Trail, and if you need a site to
stay Best Western Corbin Inn is a good choice. If you're here at Laurel River Lake, checking out Long Bend is a must. There's so much to do here at Laurel River Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Grove Campground Area is
a tremendous site for that. If you come at the right time of year, Bark Camp Creek offers some great whitewater, and as expected Ben Branch is a lovely stream that is worth a visit.
Laurel River Lake is a wet place that gets much
precipitation; the wettest month of the year is regularly May, that's the one that rains the most; the driest month of the year is October.
