If you like lakes and you're in this part of Kentucky you can check out Laurel River Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Sheltowee Trace Trail is always a magnificent adventure, and whitewater paddling is great on Laurel River. A large amount of rain falls at Laurel River Lake; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain; October on the other hand is the driest.

| | Plateau Mountains rocks! There's some flowing water close by, Ben Branch is a stream you can go to while here, and there are plenty of people from Corbin here at Laurel River Lake. This lake is so wonderful. You simply ought to pop by Long Bend if you're here at Laurel River Lake, and paddling on Bark Camp Creek is so much fun. Twin Branch Shelter Campground is a good local campground, and if you need a place to stay Best Western Corbin Inn is a delightful choice.

Laurel River Lake is one of the lakes here in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. You simply should love Laurel River Lake. Grove Campground Area is a delightful campground nearby, and don't leave Laurel River Lake without first going
for a hike along the Twin Branch Trail. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors entertaining stuff the Cumberland Plateau Mountains has to offer. After a long day outdoors Cumberland Falls State Resort Park is a splendid place
to spend a night or two; you can go for a hike on the Bark Camp Trail.
All through the summer months here at Laurel River Lake, high temperatures usually get into the 80's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the
60's. During the winter highs are commonly in the 40's, and overnight lows at Laurel River Lake through the winter typically sink into the 20's.
