If you need a location to stay Super 8 Williamsburg is a brilliant choice; a nice place for whitewater paddling is Roaring Paunch River. This lake is located in the wonderful Cumberland Plateau Mountains. These mountains rock, just explore all the enjoyable stuff to do in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. A wonderful location to camp here at Laurel Creek Reservoir is Star Creek Shelter Campground, and hey, Battery Creek is a brilliant       local stream. You think that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Camping at Eagle Falls Resort is always a great experience, and don't miss out on a spree to Big South Fork National River & Recreation Area while you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Hampton Inn Somerset is a pleasant site to get some rest. If you want a splendid time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. Lakes? Sure, West Pond is in close proximity, and                  if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Laurel Creek Trail. During the warm days of summer highs here at Laurel Creek Reservoir get into the 80's with overnight lows in the 60's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Laurel Creek Reservoir. The Lakeside South Trail is a delightful hiking trail near Laurel Creek Reservoir; Rock Creek is a splendid whitewater spot nearby. Not far from Laurel Creek Reservoir, you'll hit upon Ronald King Lake which is a pretty lake, and on a splendid day you can take a hike along the Cumberland Falls Trail Number Two.
