Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Little Kentucky River; Best Western Ashbury Inn is a perfect site to get some rest. You'll find a striking lake called Baxter Lake near Lake Jericho; if you came for an overnight stay Callis Grove Campground is a brilliant location to camp. Be careful coming to Lake Jericho, you might not ever wanna return                  home again. Lakes are such calm spots, why not check out Sibley Lake close to Lake Jericho; get your heart pumping on the glorious whitewater of Harrod's Creek. At Lake Jericho during the warmest time of the year highs are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 60's.
