A lake close by is Hematite Lake, and there's magnificent hiking along the Hematite Trail. If you like the outdoors, you'll have a thing about Kentucky Lake. If you yearn for a little side journey, try Turner Hollow, and hey, Barnett Creek is a perfect local stream. The Buffalo Trail offers hiking at its best, and close by you hit upon Barnett Bay. Kentucky Lake is a wet place       that gets lots of rain; during the month of December you get the most rain around here while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Golden Pond is a nearby lake that you could take a look at; after a long day outdoors Inn By The Lake is a delightful location to spend a night or two. Here at Kentucky Lake you'll possibly meet some people from Murray, and why not camp at Lakeside Campground and Marina since you're                  here at Kentucky Lake. For the period of the summertime highs here at Kentucky Lake reach the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. Through the winter highs are commonly in the 40's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Kentucky Lake temperatures fall to the 20's. Camping is available at Lakewood Resort, and perfect hiking is available along the Scout Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
