This is no place for people who don’t like to have a good time. You'll stumble on a wonderful lake called Lake Barkley near Kentucky Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Inn By The Lake. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Kentucky Lake, you could also visit striking Clear Pond; if you need a location to stay Days Inn Calvert City is a fine choice. Kentucky Lake is nice enough to       spend more than a day at, Exit 31 RV Park is a nice local campground, and some of the water nearby flows, like Russell Creek. Don't leave Kentucky Lake without first going for a hike along the Hematite Trail, and there's some interesting stuff to see at Kentucky Dam near Kentucky Lake. There are tremendous places to discover along the Scout Trail; a brilliant place to camp here at Kentucky Lake is Ken-bar Inn. Kentucky Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; the                  month of March is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is October. Summertime highs at Kentucky Lake generally tend to be in the 80's with overnight lows in the 60's.
