Green Mountain can be made out from Hawkins Pond, and camping at Hawkins Pond is good fun, Zilpo Camp Ground is a good local campground. and after a long day outdoors Super 8 Owingsville is a great place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. It's a perfect idea to explore Cow Creek, it's close to Hawkins Pond. Yep, outdoors entertaining things to do are
beyond doubt abundant here at Hawkins Pond. Near Hawkins Pond you find Campbell Hollow which is a great site to take a look at, and The Outpost Campground is a good campground here.
Red River is a fine whitewater spot close to Hawkins Pond, and going for a hike on the Carrington Rock Trail is always a delightful adventure.
