So many exciting things in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains, just extraordinary. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can check out Grayson Dam, and Big Sinking Creek is in close proximity to Grayson Lake and is always a bliss to check out. This lake is one of the great places here in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. Through the summertime here at Grayson Lake, high temperatures ordinarily get into the 80's.       Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 60's. For the duration of the winter the highs are generally in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Grayson Lake are in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Tygarts Creek close to Grayson Lake, and possibly you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Anglin Pond is just a very short distance away. This lake is so wonderful. If you adore the outdoors, you'll love                  Grayson Lake. Get your pulse rate up on the brilliant whitewater of Little Sandy River, and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Hidden Cove Golf Course is nearby. If you came to camp Jones Campground is a wonderful place to do that, and after a long day outdoors Quality Inn Grayson is a brilliant place to spend a night or two. The amount of rain that falls at Grayson Lake is close to the national average; all through the month of August you get the most rain around here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. Super 8 Motel - Grayson is a wonderful place to get some rest, and if you've had enough of Grayson Lake, Stevens Lake is nearby.
