Gray Slough is a wet spot that gets a great deal of rain; March is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is October. This lake is so wonderful. Gray Slough is a site with many visitors from Murray, and after a long day outdoors Days Inn Calvert City is a perfect place to spend a night or two. Lakes are such serene spots, why not       pop by Lake Barkley in the vicinity of Gray Slough, and if you came for an overnight stay Exit 31 RV Park is a magnificent place to camp. Camping is available at Lighthouse Landing, and going for a hike on the Scout Trail is always a great adventure. Summertime highs at Gray Slough ordinarily tend to be in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. High temperatures all through the wintertime are normally in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's                  overnight here at Gray Slough. Just can't get enough of Gray Slough. A scenic lake like Kentucky Lake in the neighborhood of Gray Slough is a delightful place to go to; a journey to close by Double Creek is very relaxing. Visit Cook Creek while you're here at Gray Slough, and Barkley Dam has great water scenery.
