There are some glorious whitewater spots on Gasper River, and if you're a golfer then a magnificent close by course is Hobson Grove Golf Course. Goud Lake is a relatively wet place regularly with a great deal of rainfall; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain, and October meanwhile is the driest       month. This lake is so wonderful. You'll discover a picturesque lake called Shanty Hollow Lake near Goud Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn University Plaza-Bowling Green. So much fun stuff to do here at Goud Lake, too magnificent to be true. A great location to camp here at Goud Lake is Bowling Green Koa Kampground, and the fine people of Bowling Green like to hang out nearby. At Goud Lake through the summertime highs are in the 80's; the overnight                  is fairly cooler of course, typically in the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's, and night lows throughout the wintertime for Goud Lake tend to be in the 20's.
