    Giant Canada Goose Pond is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. So many entertaining things to do here in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains, too splendid to be true. Dry warm beds await you at Knights Inn Morehead; a golf course nearby is Sheltowee Trail Country Club. This lake is so wonderful. Billy Branch is a good local stream. Lakes? Sure, Cave Run Lake is nearby. All year is a fine time in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains if you love the outdoors.  
   The Big Limestone Trail is a pleasant hiking trail in the neighborhood of Giant Canada Goose Pond, and you might also want to pay a visit to Cassidy Ford Hollow while you're here at Giant Canada Goose Pond.
This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Quality Inn Morehead is a glorious choice, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Mount Sterling here. If you came for an overnight stay Claylick Boat-in Campground is a perfect place to camp, and Twin Knobs
 
               is clearly visible from Giant Canada Goose Pond. You definitely should like Giant Canada Goose Pond. Buckskin Run Camper Park is a brilliant local campground, and whitewater paddling is fine on Red River.
Spring Grove Lakes is a great lake in close proximity to Giant Canada Goose Pond, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Shellow Flats Wildlife Trail. This lake is located in the wonderful Cumberland Plateau Mountains. High temperatures at Giant Canada Goose Pond all through the summertime months are in the 80's. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 60's. High temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Giant Canada Goose Pond.

Are there any camping sites for Boy Scouts? Where can I get more info on the camp? Thank you....Zilpo is the greatest place to spend your time during the camping season. The hosts are absolutely the friendliest, caring people around. Can't beat the beauty all around. Great stress reliever..........believe my I know!!!!...We visited Zilpo Aug 18th and 19 even though it rained we still enjoyed it. Was our first time there loved the clean beach and the wildlife. Thanks The Poynter Family...How we love Zilpo and especially Herron section...wonderful large camping areas...nice ...nice people all over the campground..VERY accomodating camp hosts..don't miss this one......
