Cubby Cove is near First Creek Lake and is a wonderful location; a tremendous spot to camp here at First Creek Lake is Seven Springs Park Restaurant. Looking for                  a fine visit? Mammoth Cave National Park is rather near First Creek Lake, naturally you could also pop by Nolin Lake while you're here; it's not far at all. Throughout the summer months at First Creek Lake temperatures are regularly in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 60's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 40's, and nighttime lows at First Creek Lake through the winter usually drop into the 20's.
