Lakes are brilliant; Marcum Lake is a lake that's near Duck Lake. This lake is so wonderful. SUPER 8 MOTEL - SHEPHERDSVILLE is a nice site to get some rest; do take a look at Bullitt Lick Creek while you're here at Duck Lake. The high level of precipitation makes Duck Lake a quite wet spot; July is when you get the most rain here, and October is when it's the driest.       Here at Duck Lake there are plenty of people from Louisville. Duck Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Gospel Campground is a good local campground, and needless to say, this is a good neighborhood for people who like lakes, Zazios Pond is a lake close by. If you need a site to stay Sleep Inn & Suites Shepherdsville is a good choice, and you can run the rapids of Floyds Fork. Through the months of summer at Duck Lake highs are ordinarily in                  the 80's with overnight lows in the 60's. All through the wintertime highs are regularly in the 40's while Duck Lake overnight low temperatures through the winter are in the 20's. This is no site for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves.
