Doyels Big Pond is a wet place that gets lots of precipitation; most of the rain falls through March, and the driest of the months is October. This lake is so wonderful. For the duration of the long summer days highs here at Doyels Big Pond reach the 80's. Summer overnight lows plunge down to the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's, and night lows all through the winter       for Doyels Big Pond tend to be in the 20's. Golf can be played at Diamond Caverns Resort & Golf Club; camping is available at Diamond Caverns Resort & Golf Club. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors fun things the area right next door to Doyels Big Pond has to offer. Why not camp at Oaks Motel and Campground since you're here at Doyels Big Pond, and Doyels Big Pond is right by the Green River Bluffs Trail. This lake is so wonderful. The Echo River Spring Trail offers hiking at its best, and don't miss out on a tour to Mammoth Cave National Park while you're here.
