Keenelodge Motor Inn is a good site to get some rest, and you'll stumble on a beautiful lake called Sycamore Lake. While you're here at Cooke Lake you will meet lots of people from nearby Lexington-Fayette, and get your heart beating on the wonderful whitewater of Jessamine Creek. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Kentucky Horse Park is a great location to camp, and if you're a golfer then a splendid nearby       course is The Brook Golf Course. Cooke Lake generally gets a large amount of rain; May is the month that gets the most rain, and October on the other hand is the driest. If you want a tremendous time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Cooke Lake. Camping at Cooke Lake is magnificent fun, Renfro Valley Entertainment Center is a magnificent local campground. Summertime highs at Cooke Lake ordinarily tend to be in the 80's while night lows are frequently                  in the 60's. Highs during the wintertime are frequently in the 40's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Cooke Lake temperatures dip to the 10's.
