Dogwood Lakes Camping Resort and Funpark is a good local campground, and Connelly Lake is not far at all from Central City. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this location. Lakes are magnificent; Town Lake is a lake that's in close proximity to Connelly Lake. Connelly Lake is a pretty wet place typically with much rain; the month of       May is the wettest with most of the rain, and October meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Connelly Lake is a good site to visit for more than one day, Ohio County Park and RV Campground is a good site to camp nearby, and a brilliant close by hotel is Best Western Venture Inn. Not far from Connelly Lake, you'll find Bridge Lake which is a scenic lake, and Days Inn Central City is a good location to get some rest. For the period of                  the warm months here at Connelly Lake, high temperatures commonly get into the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's.
