This place is excellent, just explore all the fun stuff to do next to Combs Lake. You're perhaps keen on lakes, Cannon Lake is one of those nearby; Best Western Wilderness Trail Inn is a nice location to get some rest. Combs Lake is next to Griffin Hollow which is undeniably worth checking out, and if you came to camp Clay County Campground is a wonderful place to do that. But wait, there's       more cool stuff to do in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. It's a good idea to go to DeZarns Fork, it's close to Combs Lake, and camping at Willie Begley Memorial RV Park is always a nice experience. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. Lakes are perfect; Buckhorn Lake is a lake that's close to Combs Lake. At Combs Lake you can see Town Mountain, and going for a hike along the Redbird Crest Trail will let you absorb the                  natural beauty of this vicinity. Summertime highs at Combs Lake generally tend to be in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 60's. Highs through the wintertime are typically in the 40's, and overnight lows at Combs Lake through the wintertime usually descend into the 20's. Combs Lake is a quite wet place usually with a large amount of precipitation; through July this area sees the most rain; October is the month with the least moisture.
