Lots of rainfall falls at Combs Lake; during July this area sees the most rain while October is commonly the driest month. After a long day outdoors Best Western Of Manchester is a delightful site to spend a night or two; camping is available at Willie Begley Memorial RV Park. This lake is located in the wonderful Cumberland Plateau Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Looking for some flowing water?       Try DeZarns Fork, and near Combs Lake you find a golf course called Big Hickory Golf Course. Camping at Clay County Campground is always a fine experience, and going for a hike along the Redbird Crest Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area.
