La Clara Lakes is a wet place that gets a great deal of rain; July is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is October. This lake is so wonderful. Riggs Lake is a great lake next to La Clara Lakes; if you're stopping by from Louisville, you won't be the only       one. At La Clara Lakes throughout the warmest time of the year highs are in the 80's while nighttime lows are regularly in the 60's. During the wintertime the highs are mostly in the 40's while La Clara Lakes night low temperatures through the winter are in the 20's. If you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Harrod's Creek. A scenic lake like Mirror Lakes in the vicinity of La Clara Lakes is a good location to stop by;                  a round of golf at nearby Glenmary Country Club is a glorious way to kill some time. Just can't get enough of La Clara Lakes. Candlewood Suites LOUISVILLE-EAST is a pleasant site to get some rest, and you can stay the night at Cedar Ridge Camp.
