Cherry Lake typically gets a large amount of rainfall; during the month of March you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is October. There are some splendid whitewater spots on Gasper River, and lots of people from Bowling Green come here. For the duration of the warm days of summer at Cherry Lake highs are mostly in       the 80's, and the overnight is fairly chillier of course, usually in the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's with temperatures at Cherry Lake dipping down into the 20's through winter nights. If you adore the outdoors, you'll go for Cherry Lake. Bowling Green HGI is a nice place to get some rest; a lovely lake like Little Martin Lake is a tremendous place to take a look at. Cherry Lake is a delightful spot to visit for more than one                  day, Bowling Green Koa Kampground is a delightful spot to camp nearby, and after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn University Plaza-Bowling Green is a splendid place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful.
